It was a spooky and fun-filled day for the JCYC Workhub volunteers as they participated in the Chibi Chan Preschool Halloween parade! The JCYC Workhub team, dressed in their best costumes, arrived at the preschool early in the morning, ready to assist with the parade preparations.
The JCYC Workhub volunteers helped decorate the preschool with Halloween-themed decorations, such as spider webs, pumpkins, and ghosts. They also helped set up the parade route, ensuring that it was safe and easy for the preschoolers to walk through.
As the parade started, the JCYC Workhub volunteers joined in and marched alongside the preschoolers, making silly faces and entertaining the children with their costumes. The children were delighted to see the JCYC Workhub team dressed up as their favorite superheroes, animals, and characters from popular movies.
After the parade, the JCYC Workhub team helped organize a fun Halloween party for the children, complete with games, treats, and even a spooky photo booth. The children had a blast, and the JCYC Workhub volunteers were thrilled to have been a part of such a memorable event.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is important for high school students because it provides them with an opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience, all while making a positive impact on their community. Volunteering allows students to learn new things, meet new people, and explore their interests, while also giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of others.
In addition to the personal benefits, volunteering also looks great on college applications and resumes, showing that the student is committed to making a difference and has a strong work ethic. Volunteering with organizations like JCYC Workhub not only helps high school students develop important skills and experiences but also allows them to have fun and make lasting memories, just like the Halloween parade at Chibi Chan Preschool!
